Surside 7/17

Me and 2 buddies went out to the surf on Saturday morning. Got in the water before daylight throwing plastics. Nothing biting at all. Not even the shrimp throwers were catching anything. One of my friends went to the second sand bar and hooked up with a dink with his second cast (Tequila gold/Chart). So, we decided to head out.....still nothing. My buddy went back to the truck to load up with shrimp and when he got back, he started catching dinks on EVERY cast. So we followed his lead. We ended up catching about 80-100 dinks by 10 am an only 3 keepers. Still had fun catching and releasing. The water was clean the first part of the morning but when the wind shifted, so did the water. Very dirty. Till next time, tight lines.
