Which is the VERY best

Guys, I never post over here but I need ya'lls BIG water advice. What is the best gps/nav/sonar unit out their that could be mounted on the cockpit of a seagoing kayak....I'm talking a seahauler that would have the room for a nice large screen and has GOOD MAPPING and can read the deepest depths and take the salt water. Which company makes the best ones...the very most reliable......thanks for you advice in advance....I'm sure ya'll have talked about it before....just looking for your opinions

I don't think they had radar back in the Flintstone days

I think I could overcome any power issues....but radar I think might be just abit taxing on the old battery/solar setup there Fred... John....I'll give you a call tomorrow (thursday) and get some right direction. Oviously I would never rely on just electronics on an open sea expedition....that would be very foolish to say the least. thanks for the opinions to all! You guys ought to know what works good and reliable out in the middle of no where....lol.
