Our office is supporting a shelter in Mont Belvue, and one of our girls went out today to see what they needed and deliver some of the donations. She came back and said the refugees had more or less divided the shelter up into "home areas". Each family and even the singles had a small area to call home, and they were keeping it very neat , clean, and well cared for and were helping the elderly close to them.
Now on the other hand we were told that volunteers were needed at the Astrodome TO CLEAN THE AREA AND THE BATHROOMS! TRASH WAS BECOMING A PROBLEM! Now my question is why are volunteers needed for housecleaning if there are 11,000 people in the dome?

I hate to hear a grown man complain about how nobody is helping him. I see pictures of the trash in the Superdome and it makes me wonder.
