ive grown up mainly bass fishing but the last 5 years or so been salt water more than anything but ive always used a palomar or clinch. how do yall tie yalls loop knots would like to try it out to see if it helps

I tie loop knot straight from the line on everything

I've really narrowed it down over the past couple of years to using quickswirls w/ the swivel whether it's bait or lures, tied to about 6 to 8 inches of flourocarbon which is connected to braid using a tiny high quality swivel. I like the quickswirls because they're reasonably priced, strong and you can put a lure or a hook on them very easily. I caught a lot of big fish this year and never straightened one out! I do buy the ones w/ the swivel because I do throw a lot of spoons and believe it helps w/ line twist. I used to use a loop knot, but I've been right there w/ guys using loops and I'm catching just as much if not more w/ the quickswirls.
