Well we are wrapping up the year and I gotta say I dont have much old fishing news from this year LOL I did sneak out in october and catch a few fish in the afternoons but most of the year it has been all work and no play.
The work is continuing as well to try to clean the gulf up. Next year I am going to be back doing what I have enjoyed for pretty much my whole life. My palmetto has a contract that will probably go into next year with bp and I will keep the palmetto with them as long as I can but I am waiting on my new boat to come in.
I found a good deal on an 36 contender and am actually getting it delivered this week to boat stuf in slidell who are then going to mount twin 350s on it for me. I am really looking forward to fishing this boat and am sure we will have tons of fun with my customers/friends out there killing tuna, wahoo and whatever else we can catch.
I am planning on returning to fishing in mid-late january on the contender while my palmetto will be working for bp to clean our gulf.
