Roy's Bait & Tackle Customer Appreciation Sale

Hey Guys,

Drove past Roy's Bait and Tackle a few days ago and they had the big tent up out front! Sure enough Minnows from OTI called last night to mention he was in town for the big Customer Appreciation Days sale at Roy's. Sale is this Friday and Saturday, November 19-20th.

Lot's of items on sale, manufacturers and reps on hand to display and answer questions and then you get to meet celebrities like TJ and hear all the awesome fishing stories of the past year and see and hear about all the latest OTI gear! No, McGolfer wasn't on hand to autograph shirts or fighting belts, he's still recovering from the trip to Panama. Anyway, I stopped by this morning before the show started and took a few pictures. Will be back by during the weekend to see how things are going.

If you've never been to Roy's, it's a BlueWater Tackle Ho's Mecca! Gotta see it once in your life!

I do order by mail sometimes from them. They have a great hook and awesome vertical jig selection. Wish they had a in house full time computer Guru to work on a nice website to order from and view... Maybe one of you locals can put a ring in their ear about that.. Its only gonna make them more money and help us get their great assortment of products.

Great store. Wish I lived about 200 miles closer..

I dont go to Corpus without going by... havent walked in there and spent less than $125 yet..

Its as dangerious as me go'n into a Sams Club for a loaf of bread. $4-500 later and on the way home I have to turn around and go back to the store to get the bread I went in there to get in the first place that I forgot to get...

I'll be there in March again tho.. Roys that is,

Tom, I went by early this morning.

I talked to TJ a while and you're right .... no Rick.

But be sure to read the prices, labels, etc. closely as I found some ways to get burnt.

I stopped by to see TJ this morning and pick up some owner st66 3/0 hooks. They were $10:00 with 20% off of that. Nice surprise! I went back this afternoon to pick up the split rings I forgot to buy this morning. There is lots of stuff on sale and I had to get away as soon as possible!

Man... that sale was amazing! I made it by Sat PM... I can only imagine what was available in that tent Friday morning... Very fun event, and incredible buys on some really good gear.... i also about had an organism when I saw a box full of Yo-Zuri marauders at $12 a crack! 2nd place went to a box of Mold Craft goodies in good colors and sizes... even got a Texas Turd color bird for $5.00!! SWEET!!!!
