packery trip 7-31
We went out Packery yesterday to try our luck offshore. When we got out there it was pretty rough, lots of chop. Trolled around one set of rigs with no luck. So we went to another further south. Found a good grass line just a few miles off the beach and started trolling. We put a king, a big jack, and 3 ling while fishing the grass. The biggest ling was about 42" and caught on a gold spoon with 12# line. Started out slow but ended up being a pretty good day.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!
