Hey, but it was all worth it when we got to see Pasadena's most famous movie star at the theater just as your coming into town on the right from Baytown. Was it the El Capatan? Her name was Briget Bardot. We all forgot the "ol smell" when the movie started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that they are involved in a law suit. The dioxin that has polluted our bay for so many years seems to be coming from a storage container which was that paper mills waste water. There is a meeting today about it at I-10 and the San Jacinto river. The containers have been there since the 40's, and are leaking. They are going to bulk head a large portion off by the I-10 bridge and dig it up.

Yep, and every time I go across the San Jac. river in the winter, on the right going to Houston, I see boats stacked in there fishing because it's deep there and the fish are there also. Nuts or crazy?

If you worked in the area close to that mill, did you ever get a 6er or cash a check after work at Jimmies Liquor store by the tunnel. My dad owned that joint for 20 years. I worked there not the mill

There are a whole lot of boats fishing in there usually. But it is far from deep. I would say outside the channel, it averages about 1 1/2'.
