Metro Light Rail Derails, Hits Metro Bus

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's been a collision involving METRO's light rail.
The accident happened at around 3:45pm on Main at St. Joseph Parkway in downtown Houston. It's believed the other vehicle involved may have been a METRO bus.
The train apparently derailed as a result of the collision. One witness tells Eyewitness News there are lots of people milling about in the area.

it sounds to me like the the bus hit the train, causing the trail to derail.

not the train derailed then hitting the bus.

big difference.
