I hate 8 pts. and low brow 10's!!!!!

I hate 8 pts and have passed up many over the yrs, same feeling with a low brow 10 pt....BUT,,,I've been shooting video of a couple of em, that have been hanging in the same area for 6 or 7 yrs now, and actually caught them crossing at the same time, on a little road at the back of the ranch...Even though, this type of deer does nothing for me,,these 2 kinda do....Almost let my son take the big 8 this year, but let him walk and spread that seed one more yr. The 10 is heavy and wide, but very low brow...
Funny story about the 10,,,last year I was going to take him, then passed...showed the video to a buddy of mine and his wife...My buddy says,,,Man, I would have laid that one out,,,,,why didn't you shoot him....I said, even though he is a nice 10 pt, he's just to short to shoulder mount...Then his wife says,,,why does that matter???? If he's shoulder mounted, how will they know how short his legs were.....LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have culled both of them unless you really like raising management deer.

Yup, cant stand those 8's and low brow 10's. Should have culled those deer. Not worth anything.

That 8 really needed to be taken. No telling how many more jr 8's he made all those years you watched him, hating the way he looked. Now, you'll get to look at a bunch more.

145-150 class 8 pts make nice mounts, but to each his own.

Those are nice bucks in my book, 90% of hunters would be proud to shoot either of those deer. rs
