Just plain STUPID!

So i'm headed home last night from the north side of town, about 10:45, take the toll road to 610 then to 45 south to take me into downtown. On the south bound side of 45 between 610 and the pierce elevated, as most of you know, the road is pretty screwed up, bumpy, throws you around a little, but you manage. Well...about a mile before the main street exit i see a tiny dim light in my driver side mirror, then hear "buzzzzzzzzz" as an COMPLETE DUMB ___ flys by me on a crotch rocket. Granted, i'm doing 80 and he made me look like i was in park, about 20 seconds behind him, a cop, no lights on, probably had chased him a little then shut it down for public safety concerns. For those of you that have crotch rockets....what are you thinking when you are doin stuff like that....honestly??? I was thinking about it, if that guy would have rear ended me in my truck, he would have come straight through my back window like an idiot-projectile and taken my head off. Anyway, i know a lot of ya'll on here ride, but hopefully not like that. and if you know the guy that did that last night, assuming he's still alive, go beat some sense into him.

I cant believe people ride like that. I was passed on I-10 a few years ago while driving 75 by a motorcycle that was popping a wheelie. I saw him coming from behind and when he got beside me I started counting. In about five seconds he was out of sight..........on one wheel.

Coming home from downtown Austin one late night, I saw a pack of about 40 of them coming up in my rear view....they got up next to us and a few of them started "stunting" (I guess thats what its called), one guy completely steps off to the side of his bike, both feet dragging the ground at about 80mph and his boots are throwing sparks.....anyway, next overpass I see tumbling lights...and sure enough...made the hill and there it was...bike still skidding accross the freeway and dude laid up against the concrete barrier...Nuts!!!! POC your cousing was with me that night....#$%% Biker Boyz!

I had a coworker that passed on a no passing lane off of 105 and hit a car going about 120. Hi friend witinessed the accident on the other bike. I was so close to convincing the wife on buying a bike until the funeral. RIP.
Be safe out there.

Just because there are few bad apples out there does not mean that the bikes should be banned... Should the Speedometers stop at 60 too while your at it?

what about the ones who race up to the other cars stopped at a light and hit the brakes so they stand up on their front tires

COOL!!!!!!!! when did they raise the speed limit to 80? I must have missed the new signs.
