do you kow how to save a life???

The video I posted about texting and driving had a 911 call on it where the caller did not know how to perform CPR.....

How many 2coolers could not, if required, perform Cardio Pulmonary Resusicitation.....CPR on a person who was found not breathing/no pulse.

CPR is not that hard to do and with a few instructions from certified trainer, you could save someones life
A friend, a child(maybe yours),a loved one, a spouse.......or a total stranger.....
I would venture to bet that there are some instructors, like me, on this board who would be willing to have a get together and do some training...
I am certified through the Red Cross to teach FIRSTAID/CPR/AED....
It aint free to rent the required material to teach the class and it would need to be in a place where we could have a TV for a required video and out of the weather....my house would be perfect for those on the far East side.......I dont remember the cost involved due to my former employer always picking up the tab and me never seeing the invoice except maybe once and it was about $100 bucks for about 10 people...thats about $10 bucks apiece or even less for more people
I am in no way trying to make a red cent....just happen to be an instructor and would be willing to teach if yall are willing to learn.
It takes about 3 hrs to do the class
If you are interested in the class or another instrutor willing to help ...use this thread to set it up and I would help

If not willing to learn.....remember that we require oxygen to live and if we aint breathing or the heart aint pumping we dont work very well.....so if you come across someone who fits the above discription.....Breath for them and massage the heart at a fairly fast pace and you may save their life.....oh and dont start till you or someone has notified 911

Ken

CPR certified for the last 25 years, AED certified for about the past 5 or so years.

Hope & pray I never have to use either.
