Venice Tournament

Anyone headed this way for the tournament? I just got off of I-10 and could not believe the Yellowfins and Contenders on the road! It was like a very expensive parade.

I would guess that team Papotanic and Lured Away are already over there prefishing. 100+ pro boats in the FLW will be scouring the delta this weekend.

you got it! I am in Kenner, La and it takes almost 2 hours. Road construction on I-10 is a killer right now though.

Be careful comming over.
Good luck on the yellows!

Figure on about 8 h with a tow. We trailered a 31 Jupiter from Lake Charles to Venice in about 6 h. Just got back Sunday. Report is over on the Tarpon Board. Jim

Its 442 miles from the Hwy 290/1960 intersection to Venice. Driving nonstop from the PHI heliport in Boothville, I've made it back in under 6 hrs running 75mph. Biggest slowdowns are construction from Vidor to Orange, running the Atchafalay bridge legal @ 60 mph, NOLA rush hour traffic from Kenner to the bridge and the forever 30 mph zone around Port Sulphur on 23.
