East Matty water quality?

Has anyone here been on East Matagorda Bay within the last couple of days? I'm interested in what the water clarity looks like, especially on the South shoreline.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Water clarity good, above the water not so much

Clear almost everywhere we stopped yesterday, winds may have picked up today, fog dropped visibility to <50 yds about 3:30, thanks to everyone for idling around and blowing their horns

Fog defiantly made for a interesting ride back about midnight last. Water in good shape and bait everywhere.

Dadgum. I knew I should have hooked up to the SS this morning. Catch anything?

That fog on Saturday afternoon 2/18 was eerie! Never seen anything like that. It was 78, sunny, with a light wind and fog rolled in thicker than pea soup at 3pm. We were at the east end and it was a long nerve racking ride back to Matagorda Harbor. Luckily we found a boat to follow...then one followed us...and so on. There was 10 of us that pulled into the harbor one behind the other like ducks in a row. I'm glad there were no accidents that I heard about....that fog was a recipe for disaster in the afternoon. It just takes one drunken idiot to have a tragedy in those conditions.
