SS Jetty 2/16/17
Casted first skrimp right after sunrise picture, 6:30 am. Subtle bite for the first hour and a half. Finally started connecting once I made adjustments (lighter tackle) to better hookup. The bigger sheep were hitting the weaker shrimp, the lively shrimp was catching the smaller more active sheep and flounder. Two flounder for the day, only one keep. One 15 1/8" trout. Etc, etc. All under cork, last bandit was caught on bottom. Neighbor connected with three pompano midday bite, unfortunately I didn't get one! One neighbor gave me a couple mullet and a perch, fished it under cork and bottom. Figured between the live then cut up mullet would give me a red for the jetty slam but no takers. Fun day, stay safe.
