Heading to Rockport/Port A area, looking for input

Looking for some input. Me and my buddy took my boat down there for the first time last November and had a blast. We put in each day at Conn Brown and fished that area out to the FEMA docks and had a good time. We are going again next weekend, and we’re wondering if we’ll find the fish in the same areas we did last time or will they have moved to a “wintering” area.
What types of areas should we focus on, deeper channels, or are they still going to be relatively shallow still? Looking for Reds and trout primarily and would love to find some flounder.
Boat is a Mako 1801, I’ll run about 3’ deep before I get nervous. Thanks for any input.

FEMA docks should have fish again. The flats will also be holding fish. The water right now is not very cold. It is more like spring than winter right now. It is going to cool off some this week be should warm up by the weekend.

Might be catching pompano at the jetties there by March 1, the way this winter is going.

Fema docks, or if it's not windy, try the gas wells in Corpus bay for a mixed bag of fish.

Jetties should be loaded with sheepshead and scattered reds.

Thanks for all the info guys, we're really looking forward to this trip. I'll keep the gas wells in mind too. Oh and I thought it was FEMA docs. LOL

These are both trout holes but could snag a red also.
Good luck.
Thank you for the info!
