Falcon?

I get to go fish Falcon Lake in a couple of weeks, spending three days on it. Anybody been down there lately or know what's going on down there. I have'nt fished there in years, especially with the water up like it is. Fish should be wrapped up with the spawn so what do you think the pattern will be and what are some go to baits for Falcon? Thanks for the info. I'm pumped to have a shot at a 10+, maybe a 12+. Hey, I'm thinking big.

I was at Falcon for a few days last week and the water is still on the cold side for this time of year. The spawn has been sporadic and is far from over. Even several weeks from now you could have a lot of fun up in the shallows. For an honest and up to date fishing report, try Falcon Lake Tackle

But be careful, that lake is addictive,,,,

Forgot to mention, get ready for some thick and thorny brush. It's beautiful and it's mean.

The fish are pretty nice as well.

I ended up using weigtless lizards or Kreatures and Mutants on sled head jigs, gotta have something that can wiggle through all that chaos. Best colors were watermelon/red flake or green/salt & pepper.

Good luck
