no ammo on the shelfs

i am heading down to dimmit co , for our compamy hunt and wanted an extra box of ammo , just in case the gun gets bumped around , well i got 12 300win mag left and all the gun shops are out of ammo , not just 300wm but just about every thing .243 , .270 , ect what is the deal why is everybody out of ammo ??? every place in have been in san antonio is sold out of most all ammo ???sportsmans warehouse , academy , nagels , gibsons in kerrville !!!! i got 1 day to find ammo what is going on with ammo sales ??????

Wal-Mart in Seguin had plenty Sat. I don't know about the .300 but i bought .270 and .223.

I dunno I didn't have any trouble getting ammo last week, Academy on 1604 between 281 and I-10 (outside the loop) had plenty of ammo. That was just last friday. if that doesn't work I'd be lettin' my fingers do the walkin' to find a store that has some. Richard's (has a shorter name but it'll get blocked out if I use it)Sporting Goods on I-10 next to BassPro was running big ads in the Sunday paper for ammo sales. In fact, most of the sporting goods stores are running discount ads with prices lower than normal and limits on how many boxes you can buy (no bulk sales allowed).

I picked up some at Bass Pro last week in San Antonio and I wasn't the only one buying ammo during lunch either. About 6 of us where in there snagging some up.

Was at the gun show in Dallas a few weeks ago and it was nuts, took 45 minutes to get inside and it was elbow to elbow, sorta musta been close to what that Walmart in NY was like. ammo boxes full were being carted out, all semi autos were selling like hotcakes, at twice the price before the election...it was crazy..! Many vendors (we went on Friday after Thxgiving) said they were not going to reopen for Sunday as they were out of inventory..nice problem to have....

I just went to the basspro and they had plenty shuttle t-locks in 100gr.
