Proline 2950

Owned a 1995 with 2 x150 gallon tanks. Had twin merc 200's and was underpowered. Top end was good but was very slow out of the hole. Lots of room in the cockpit and below, great boat for entertaining and fishing on a budget (relatively speaking). Pros: Lots of boat for the money. Solid transom with bracket makes it safer in following seas and affords lots of fishing room. Cons: Burns lots of fuel (this was prior to 4 strokes!), the quality of fittings, hardware, systems reflected the low price. Batteries, charger and pumps in the transom all get wet from bilge water splash.
Bottomline:If you're handy doing your own maintenance and don't mind replacing some pumps, hoses, etc then it's a good boat with tons of room for the money. Bring your buddies for gas expense!

Why not a center console. My experience in Texas is the cabin gets hotter than Hades for 10 of the 12 months of the year. That makes it prety much unusable. Center consoles are 100% usable room.

I bought the boat yesterday. the reason for the cabin is for family outting and overnighters. yeah i saw how well the livewell pump worked with the sureflo so i'm changing that out. the battery chager has been up dated low hours on the engines around 500. there are some minor stuff that needs to be fixed but from what i can see it's a soild boat with alot of room and it was a good price i got her for $35,000

here are a couple photo's
