Go to this site & read about the Tiara/Pursuit boats..

http://www.yachtsurvey.com/

David Pascoe is a pretty renowned marine surveyor & he has a very good write up on these boats..

Good Luck,

Supergas

Tiara has a great reputation for building a quality boat. I would not hesitate in looking at one of these. Galati sells them new and I think they still have one at the dock that you could look at.

One great thing about Tiara boats is that they have wife appeal, which isn't bad at all ...

They are built like a brick $hithouse. The older ones weren't very speedy, but solid.

Thanks for all your commments, Im going to check one out at Galati. I have looked at the 40 Cabo and 39 Tiara, but the price difference is almost 200K. I have only heard great reviews of Tiara.

Great boat, BIL had a 31 Tiara with 454's and it drank the fuel but traded for a 35 Pursuit w/diesels and it's the nuts. 95 miles out of NJ to the canyon for tuna, troll all day and burnt less than 200 gallons. Good luck on finding the one you like.

Work Tiara

I have been running a 41' Tiara for 3 years. Be for that I ran a 45' cab for 3 years. The Tiara has better Sea Keeping ability by far. The only thing I miss is the 800HP CAT in the Cabo. As far as the boat it self goes the rides better in a Head Sea and soil as a rock.
I do think the Cabo looks cooler But Better to feel go then look good. The Newer Tiara have got away from SportFishing there more of a Wine & Chese boat. They have a lot less cockpit space=less fishing room.
