for the best flavor, it needs to be fully yellow if a yellow habanero or red if it is a red...as Alton Brown says .. your patience will be rewarded!

Hey Java I can handle my habs bro..
I need about 10 ta 12 for my sausage stuffin.. I'm gunna make a hot batch of habanero polish sausage here soon.. I have about 20 on the plant but they aren't gettin ripe at the same time..
i think i am going to have to fridge a few for a bit till i get enough....

Have any of my peppers sprouted yet? I just harvested a 1 gallon milk jug full from all my plants.

nelson i have 12 of those plants and they are all doing well.. but not 1 pepper yet...
I was looking forward to making a hot sauce using my habs,japs, and your taiwans, but they will not bloom for some reason..
they look great tho.. soon i hope..
I will post some pics of them tomorrow..

Johnny,
I guess your not the only one, I have not seen any post about them I have some that I planted just a few days before I mailed them out to everyone and those are now getting flowers so peppers should just be right around the corner.
