I have a jigging setup i want to try Avet reel w/ hopper rod. I bought 65# braid, but what should I use as the leader. mono, flouro, nothing? what poundage? Ill be jigging for everything snapper, bft, aj, and groupers? thanks for the help guys!!!!!

i know vanish makes a 50 lb and plus.

for ajs and grouper i would go with 80-130 lbs leader. theyre not too picky if its flouro or mono. i use a 5 turn surgeons knot to make a loop and tie and albright to the leader, have not failed me yet . ive had alot of trouble with the berkley flouro. in the lighter classes. breaks too easy (even for 40 lb. line).i now use segaur and yo zuri and have no complaints. hope this helps.
