Shamrock Gou hole

Thinking about trying it sunday afternoon. It will be my first time. Gonna do a little exploring. Did todays wind blow all the water out ? I'm not worried about getting lost, but I am concerned about water depth. Tired of the west bay parking lot, ready for new challenges. Upper Trinity is all new to me, any help would be appreciated.

There should be plenty of water in the bay in the am. But it will be going out all morning. Good luck.

I have a 23' Chaparral which draws approx. 1.6' with the motor a little lower, but can be tilted....talked to a Game Warden out at the new boat ramp on Gou Hole Rd....he didn't think that I could launch there...nor could any other boat that wasn't an aluminum bottom or tunnel hull....he says its silted in really bad and also full of the floating lillies and weeds because of the wind....would be ideal if possible...just above the HL&P spillway...and right below Jack's Pocket...can't launch either at the Anahuac Fort boatramp...cause of silting and no more dredging being done...came in the other week in a BayStealth and had to go slow through the channed side for about 200 yds at low tide...JT from Baytown
