Trinity Bay
Trinity Bay was very good to me this morning. That is after I missed the channel out of crazy cut and had to zip the old magellan's off and dive in for a little ankle deep saltflats tug of war with my boat. Good thing I have a pro skiff, as soon as we got out of the boat it began to float again. Not a huge problem but kinda set us back a bit. Fished our normal spots and no luck till about 10 o'clock, then 3 trout and one drift later we were on 'em! Cut a few more drifts and ended up with my first limit of redfish and a couple limits of trout between me and my brother. Not bad considering we were about ready to head home for some NFL playoff action after 3 hours of not so much as a nibble. Sometimes you just need to stick it out I guess.
