That is primo offshore bait right there! We always bring at least a dozen pinfish 7-13 inches. They can't resist them!

In Florida the nick name for them was "Choffer", they are the best live grouper bait around. The old men that fished all the time set their traps every day and would bring at least 30 to 40 on a 15 hour trip. They always paid for their trip and put around $150.00+ in their pocket after selling the fish.

Those (piggy perch) are excellent bait stealers. If you use live shrimp, they can eat it a little at a time from your hook, starting with the legs of the shrimp.

Pinfish, great tarpon bait. I use them almost exclusively over any other bait. I havnt tried them for tarpon here at home in Galveston, any body here ever used them?
