Amistad

Heading to Del Rio next week, and I've never fished Amistad.

What it the pattern like right now? Spawning? Staging?

What's the bite been on?

Thanks,
Joe

Fish in the Stren Series this week were caught deep on Carolina Rigs. Plenty on beds if you want a 5 fish 10# stringer. That sounds right since Scott David only had 30# for 3 days. If they are on beds he's always got a big sack.

cloudy skies- use motor oil/blue back, clear skies - use watermelon anything, red or purple is great, t-rig, carolina, whatever is your preference, if you want try some chart/white spinnerbaits/jerkbaits near brush or grass, big fish usually taken on jigs. in general fish deeper than u would normally, the lake has very clear water. i fish there about 10 times a year. u can catch bass all day long, it's just finding a pattern that you're comfortable with. don't be afraid to fish 30+ feet deep.
