Dickinson Bay January 19
We been waiting for nice weather too long. Mike stopped by to show me his new lures and I invited him to go fishing. Well we went to Dickinson Bay, Hwy 146 ramp even if it was cold, windy, and wet. wind NE 15, temp 45, chill factor 39.
We found a deep spot and marked some fish. Tried drifting and casting or dragging plastics but it was to fast of drift and jigs wouldn't stay deep enough. Switched to a heavier Blaze shad tail in pearl and blue and drifted it deeper. started hooking reds and trout. big trout 23" and red-24". Great day to be out on the water.
Check out the pics and get off the couch and catch one. Capt. Joe
