Late report from Wednesday night on the ICW on the Island at Sargent at our beach house. Started fishing about 9:30 PM. Slow, low flow incoming tide. Very little tidal movement but the prevailing wind was pushing a little water and the fish started chasing bait (glass minnows) about 45 minutes after the lights went on. 1st fish of the night was a spec right over 23 inches. I quit around 1:00 AM after catching 30 - 40 trout. I kept 2 for our supper the next day and turned all others loose. 2" TTF Glow shad on 1/16 oz heads were the ticket to consistant action.
