Conservation Crossfire/Fisheries Issues A place for everyone interested in fisheries discussion from a regulatory/political standpoint. The laws surrounding fishing and our fisheries are changing, and this is the place to learn about changes on the horizon. Please keep it civil. We can disagree with one another, without becoming disagreeable.

It's all Alabama's fault. They have over 40% of the Gulf snapper and them sneaking potlickers done robbed us Texans blind. They're taking almost a million pounds of red snapper AND over-fishing like Cooter Brown is drunk, maybe another million. We otta take up a posse and whup them cheatin' 'Bama fishermen good, along with some of them gold chain wearing West Florida perverts and Sodamites. Ain't no proper Texan would stand for that kind of rodeo, no suh.
