I would like to get a good dehydrator I currently have a cheap one that my mom gave me 20 or so years ago. I want a big one so that I can make a lot of dried foods. I saw one at Acedemy for 300 bucks, iy is all stainless steel and is about 18" x18"x 18". Anyone have any experience with it? Or a suggestion on one? Does it matter the brand, or do all of them do the same thing and I should just look for the cheapest one I can get that is the size I wany.
I use an Excaliber dehydrator. It has 9 trays and the fan and heater are in the back instead of top or bottom. The timer is handy too.works great. When I did the research the Excaliber was the most user recomended one out there, but i have not seen the one from academy
