Flag Wet Wading??

Both of my good friends say it is warm enough to wet wade. If someone else has posted this topic then I missed it.

Thinking of wading tomorrow, Saturday, and think it may be warm enough but I usually wait until May to shed the waders. What does everyone think?

Waders or wet?

Wore waders today in West Galveston. Was glad I did. Still a little too cool.

Waters fine, wet waded last weekend and today, although today was more comfortable as the wind wasn't as bad. A friend that fished poc is still in waders but the water was 72 in Galveston today.

Wear your waders, you'll be more comfortable.

yeah.. as long as the wind and clouds keep up, keep them on. The water has been warm enough on very warm days, but we've dropped back down a little and the wind has been high along with clouds. That keeps you cooler. If you are just wading shin deep, that might be ok though.

have fun.

Shoot, I was up to my chest, mainly waist to belly deep. It really wasn't bad at all.

I would rather freeline my shrimp instead of fishing on the bottom. Think about all that coffee you drank in the morning...

I have to jump up and down in the rain to get wet. I'm thin and do not like to be cold, so I wear mine with just swim trunks when it's border line. I may shed them later in the morning as it gets hot, but I'm much more comfortable dry this time of year.
