I was out at the Jetty's this evening and the water was milky brown and lots of seaweeds was coming in and on the beach. NOTHING was biting and no bait in the water. Anybody else have any reports from Surfside Jetty's?:rybka:
Oh man , the wind and offshore wave height hammered the surf today . Not a day to expect to see bait or fish , just rough , brown surf . You'll see surf trout first down there before Galveston.
Went back out to Surfside Jetty's to check the water conditions, color is better but still a lot of seaweed. Lots of holiday weekenders there and no parking. I decided to come home and smoke a few briskets, I think that will work out better for me.
