I can't believe it has almost completely filled in. My father was a member of Hasselman's Bay Club and we would spend a week out there every summer and duck hunt the marsh in the winter. This was back in the mid 90's up until 2002 I believe. We used to fish that cut at night under the lights and catch the specks on any and everything, even an 8 year old kid like me could catch them on a fly rod with a clouser minnow. I remember a friends father hooked up with an absolute monster red. He fought it for over an hour and we only got a glempse of a massive tail with a dot the size of a silver dollar before it busted off. I have spent many nights fishing that place, I hate to see it go.
