Wet Bay 3/21/17

Went out in West bay this week and try and see if I could get some dinner. Hit up the reefs along the old intercostal with no takers, Thru the kitchen sink at them. Even got desperate and tied some live shrimp onto a mauler with no takers.

Then headed over to the north shore line of West bay. Did a quick drift but nothing. Water was terrible. Seems like Wet bay has been pretty quite for a while now. Hope others have been having better luck than me.

West Bay has been kind of slow lately. The water temp keeps going up and down. I've been picking up 4 or 5 trout and a couple of flounder. It's a little hard right now to know if deep or shallow is the right answer. You have to cover an area with several long drifts before pulling the plug and moving. Patience is required.
