There was bait flipping for sure. But with no tide movement at all they were just in pockets.
They had lots of rain last week around Mission and Lavaca river etc draining so reds may have moved up to feed in those areas by now. I didn't do well on Reds last week so not sure how to offer advice there.

Bet your wife will not mind like the dog.

I love that bait and it is getting hard to find. We used to fish it in PM all the time. MY best trout-30.5 and 9.25 lbs came on one few years ago.

Used to use a piece of sharp brass tubing to place rattles in the bait then use dab of super glue to hold it in place during the bad tide times. Now I would probably hit it with a dab of pro cure too.

When are we going fishing?
