billystix spiral waderstix ""no bling"" ??

guy's
had a request from a customer to build a no bling custom, just a nice clean 7ft med fast viper with burgundy winn grips & wrap colors to match, i did however talk him into a little decal work, rod has wind tamer guides line wt #10-#15 rod turned out very nice light in weight with awesome power in the blank.
the viper as most of you that own one is quite unique in the way it performs, it has enough power for the big boys yet it is light weight & makes for a awesome all day waderstix, now it comes with no trigger & i simply ask that you just give this simple thing some thought ,you can palm your reel all you want plus you have no restrictions as to where or how you grip your reel ,nothing says hold me like like this, its now your rod your reel at last you have the power of totally being in control of where you place your grip & how.
i am getting more raves daily on this very new & simple change that i have been using for years, just this year decided to try to convince my fellow anglers to at least give it some thought & what i have done is opened the door for a lot of guys that wade for hrs with the no trigger set up. i might want to mention it all belongs to the way the grip & reel seat is set up this alone is a vital part of the happy feel .give it some thought .

Billy, admittedly, I was sort of leery of the triggerless spiral bait caster rod you build for me. It was uncalled for, now that I have had a chance to put it through the paces. The rod loads up well on the back swing and the balance, seemingly centered just behind the reel, is absolutely fantastic. There is no sense that the rod wants to leave your hand. And, it was that sense, plus the reality, that there was a "trigger" on the older rods. This rod feels like an extention of your casting arm. When I tell you that I am "tickled pink" with it, believe it!

just like to thank both you guy's
but i really want to add this ,this is truly not the first time i have heard these same words not only have i heard them many times in the past both on the spiral as i was trying to get anglers on board but i have for several years tried quite silently tried to get a few anglers on the no trigger model & i was successful some what over the years . but i decided that 2017 was going to be the year i was going all out on stressing no trigger as i have had great success with getting the spiral a good reputation i said it is now time to get guy's on board with no trigger !!
like you have so well put it ,the center of gravity & the way i have designed the reel seat just all falls in place for as you put it (an extension of your arm ) thank you sir so much for helping me bring this to the attention of your fellow 2 coolers & angler's in texas .mix the 2 into one custom billystix & you have fishing at it's finest.
