East Bay Saturday afternoon

Launched around 3pm from dike. Never seen as many people parked on both sides of the road. Ramp wasn't too busy. Ran to the back of East Bay and worked our way back. Water was clear and really high at first stop and friend only had one bite on a Corky. I zeroed on that wade. Water was a little worse the further west we went. Stopped on shoreline where we saw a slick earlier and water was 3.0 ft deep at the bank on depth-finder. Decided to fish from boat, friend caught a 3 pounder on pearl/chartreuse Corky and then 2 more. I had nothing going on Topwater and finally caught one on maniac mullet. Decided to put Boat on bank and try a wade. We caught 7-8 more on Corkies and bite died. No blowups, no bites on soft plastics. Boat ran well. Overall a successful trip. Should have stopped at second spot first.

boat running well is always a relief!!!!

activity chart showed after 5PM for peak Saturday, what time did bite die? The tide looked to be slow outgoing....did you have any current at your wade spots?

thanks for the report
