San Luis Pass Galveston Bay Side
Fished the the Galveston Bay side of the pass about 1 mile east of the actual pass today from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Slight outgoing tide all day with greenish water with 6" visibility. Threw croaker all day. Nothing until 2:30 pm. I waded at least 3/4 to 1 mile out toward the middle of the bay. That's where I found a few fish. Missed something the scaled the golden bomb. Then 2 minutes later a 14" flatty, released. A minute later, 19" slimer, released. Then five minutes later a nice 23" snaggle tooth. Perfect for fish tacos this weekend. Fat healthy fish. I found Nothing in her stomach when cleaned. Nothing else the rest of the wade. Hard sand bottom all day and fish caught in about 3.5' to 4' deep.
