Late Friday Fun Day Report
Took the 220 T Bluewave out Friday the 10th for my Birthday turned 60, She's been resting all winter.
Not sure what Launch camp it is called just over the Galveston Causeway but I put in there, Got a late start, got some shrimp and was on the water by 7A,
Headed over to the Causeway Piles to see what the water conditions were, off colored Tide was ripping out, So I pointed the boat Northwest and headed to Greens Cut and Fished the Bay side, made 3-4 drifts with no takers, fished the flats along Mecoms Reef as I headed back toward the
C-Way Piles still no takers.
I made it back to the C-Way Piles around 10:30 and anchored between the 4th & 5th piles and Threw out Some Shrimp on drift line, after about 30 Min The Lord blessed me with a 16" then a 20" Trout then a Rat Red and a Sting ray, after these it turned off this is when the Tide went Slack.
Sorry no Picks I didn't have my camera, it was good being back on the Island the Place I was Born, on my 60th B-day.
