Question upper Trinity Bay pockets - info please

I'm thinking about going next mid week, putting in at the locks and running by way of the cutoff to the upper pockets. Wondering if anyone that's been recently might share some info?
Salinity? Caught any saltwater fish?

I was in the marsh last week just riding. North wind and ripping outgoing water. I'm assuming all fresh in there a while longer.

It's fresh. You can catch blue cats all the way to Smith Point.

Lol. Its not that fresh. Trout are there. Ive had decent luck throwing plastics in 4-6' of water. I will say that wading on the very upper north end has left us void of trout but redfish are there.
