West G Bay saturday

Launched at the causeway around 6 am and waded the south shoreline with topwaters, corky's and tails at a marsh drain. strong current, clean water and lots of bait. No fish. Moved over to Dana's Cove and waded some deeper guts. No fish. Drifted the way out and saw a lot of mud boils in shallow water but no action. lots of waders back there and seems like everyone was expecting it to be winter but it just didnt feel like it at all. Ran to the north shoreline and fished some muddy water in high wind and caught a couple trout and a red on live shrimp and lil john's. Ran to a back lake and drifted with popping corks and live shrimp and caught probably a dozen rat reds and 2 slots. Weird day of fishing and my first time on the bay in a while. I just dont where to find the trout right now. probably due to the hot winter we've been having. I probably could have wet waded towards the end of the day it was so warm out.
