Texasflag4 Orange Beach charter?

My family and I are going to Orange Beach, Alabama in May, and I am going to book a trip for my son, my son-in-law and me. I'm looking to put fish in the cooler, not interested in catching kingfish, and red snappers are closed at that time of the year. I'm trying to decide between an inshore charter and near shore or offshore. I was wondering if anyone has experience fishing over there in the middle of May. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dogfisher

If you want to go inshore, I have used Keith Powell with Alabama Inshore Fishing Guides. He's a good guy and good with kids. Throws mostly live bait. I haven't done any offshore fishing in that area though. His number is 251-367-3464 and email is cptkeith3000@gmail.com.

Off shore I use Reel Kill . Capt Mike knows where the big ones hide. Book through Caribe marina or direct.

Thanks for the information guys. We are looking forward to seeing what their water looks like. Still haven't decided whether we want to go offshore or inshore. That time of year, I'm not sure there will be a lot of trout in the bays, and red snapper season will be closed. I like mangrove snapper though.
