when high pressure sets in

One thing I've noticed is that when high pressure sets in it can make for a tough trout bite but doesn't affect the reds as much. Launched at 3:30 and by 5:00 had 5 reds on the hook. I waded knee deep sand with scattered grass and noticed lots of big mullet in the area a few pin perch that would follow my lure. I threw white paddle tail zman baits. This was my first time trying them out and man they are durable and have great action. Just look at that bluebird sky!

You had a great day. I was out yesterday with the typical high pressure blue sky.
Could not find reds or trout. We only put 3 - 15 inch reds in the boat. A few small undersize trout.
