Went out this morning for a few hours and of course the wind picked up pretty good.
Left out of Oak Island mid morning. Tide low and dirty.
Headed south towards Smith Point looking for bait moving or some sign of life.
Ran a few miles past Hodges looking. Finally found bait fish moving.
Started drifting using gulp on jig head with no bites.
Tried gulp under popping cork and picked up a hardhead, kept drifting and picked up a BLUE cat and another hardhead.
At the ramp talked with a couple of gentlemen that had been using live shrimp around some ditches and drains. They had about the same results. They also caught a BLUE cat or two and a small rat red.
I guess it will take a while for Trinity to get right.
