Well, I was reminded of a little incident that took place at Smith Point back in March, where I hit a small shell reef running about 10mph. I went to check out my prop and did notice a small dent at the tip of one of the prop blades. Took it to Strack's Marine. David Frank said that the rpm/mph could absolutely be affected. So off to Baumann's she goes!!!

Ok, good... While this all seemed to coincide with the tune-up, the performance just seemed to indicate the problem was more with the prop than anything else.

Looking forward to reading your follow up...

Agree.
The crank, idle, and hole shot were really good. I had completely forgotten about the "bump on the bay". I hope Baumanns can straighten me out.

Took my prop in to Stracks Marine on Monday. They sent it to Baumanns Tuesday, and back to Stracks by Friday. I'm excited to see how she does. Heading to the bay on Tuesday.

Boat ran great!!!
40 mph @ 4200rpm.
35 mph @ 3800rpm
It's amazing how a very small ding/bent in a prop can decrease the boats performance.
