Majek boat so can get shallow
Tried to get into swan lake around Campbells and almost stuck it, definetly grinded shell idling through rock wall opening furthest south.
Anyone got some tips on how to get in and Wade
Must have been a super low tide at the time. My boat drafts 10" and I've been in there many times and have never hit bottom plus I've never had a problem getting up on plane in there. I usually go in on the south side as well since I'm coming from the west.
I approached that south opening from the north east side and 20 yards off the rocks it's easily less than a foot and heavy heavy shell. I'll try further south
Close... here's how I get in there with my whaler. If a whaler can do it.... ;-)
Majek should be ok on a normal low tide, but not a winter blown out low. Get comfortable running it on average tide or higher. I suggest making a bread crum trail with some way points or creating a track and putting that on your GPS. Watch out for the satellite oyster reefs on the inside.
