I just went a couple weeks ago and I don't remember who our guides were but they took us out in a 42' Bertram and they fished real hard for us. Lost a marlin but caught a big hammerhead and some Bonita

Just came in from a trip with Pieces aboard the Valerie, No Bueno, the rest of the fleet killed them. Several Stripe and Blue Marlin flags flying as well multiple tuna flags flying. Let's hope Saturday and the half day with the kids has better luck.

Day 2, we arrive for our trip, met by one of the guys at the desk. First words out of his mouth "don't tell anyone of your trip the first time and no fish". We laughed it off and proceeded back to our boat " Valerie". Long story short for the fishing, 6 Queen Triggers, does not that cut the guacamole! I am astonished, they all recognized the fishing on our first trip was sub par to say the least, reminding us the morning of second trip. Yet they repeat, I have fished many places and continents, this gringo trip was the biggest slap in the face. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, we all have those off days, but when all you can get us on is Triggers! The Capt had to call a neighbor boat to find them, much less anything else. Not even going to our less than adequate trolling spread, can't get the image of a single 4.5" Squid Skirt single hook shot gun bouncing in the far distance.
Think what put me over the edge, they meet us at the dock, all smiles and saying heard you had a great trip! Let him open the cooler, he looked up and said Thank You for your Business! Good thing our kids were there.
Not making a third, reached out for some of the other listed above and some locals we found, just looking for some redemption/salvation.

When we fished last week, we didn't get any hits from trolling. We would see Marlin tails, they would stop the boat, and Abraham the deck hand would sight cast to them. It was crazy. We hooked 4 and boated 2.

Brunch view. Pacific side looks bumpy. Whitecaps. Seen a few boats run by.
