Fish Jean Scurtu

Picture of Jean Scurtu from years back. Considering what is going down with Rollover, I am grateful I took a day off and actually fished with him once!

The guy was a world class fisherman in Europe before he immigrated to the U.S. pretty cool story. Do some research, his story is here on 2cool.

Super individual, wish we had more like him out in the world, I don't like what I see on a daily basis. He is a good man.

Yep, an unforgettable day for Matt, but like the sports star that signs an autograph for a snot nosed kid, pretty much an unremarkable day for Mr. Scurtu.

I spoke with him on the phone once hoping to set up a trip w/ him to Rollover. He was not feeling well at the time so we did not set up a trip. I'm sure he knows the right conditions to be there and ROP can be bionic if you catch it right. Major migrations through the pass occur at certain times and Jean (pronounced zhawn, as in French) knows when and where. I've been there a few times and caught a few. I did not see all the trash that so many complain about. What a shame and what a mistake to close it.

Just an idea. All handicap folks who fish ROP need to file a law suit against the closing of ROP.

In America, anyone can sue everyone.
These are the basic questions before thinking about a lawsuit:
1) what grounds do I have?
2) are they legits?
3) who can take my case?
4) can I afford to hire a trial lawyer?
5) is it worth the outcome of the lawsuit?
If any of the above 5 is "no", it's just a wishful thinking ...
