I just started the end of my 30 plus years of dipping a week and a half ago, there have been some tuff moments to say the least. Everytime I get the craving I pop in a piece of nicorette gum and it takes the edge off. I started chewing about 8 to 10 pieces of gum a day and am down to 4 to 5 pieces a day so it is getting better. My kids have always ragged me about quiting and it has finally sunk in. My oldest is currently deployed in the middle east with the USMC and I told my self if he can put his life on the line for my freedom and he stays on me about quitting than thats the least I can do for him. I agree with you, just never thought I could function without a dip in my mouth anytime my eyes were open. Think positive, you can do it!!
