Fished yesterday out of Froggy's, we went to Bill day's reef but the wind was just too much, so we headed between Grass and Farwell Isles. We were throwing saltwater assassins in plum/chart. and we had some croaker just in case. We never could get much to hit around there so we left and headed to Pringle and Conti shorelines. nothing on east side of Pringle entrance but we caught around 12 trout at the entrance to Conti. After lunch, we went back to Pringle but fished the west side of the entrance, which had more bait. We caught 12 more trout and 1 red which was released.
Croaker, probably outdid the artificals by about 3 to 2, it seemed the croaker fish were deep and the artif. fish were shallower. Not a bad trip for the 3 of us but the fishing was much harder for us than this thread would lead to believe. We hit the h20 at sunup and fished until about 5 pm. Wind was out of the south and it had to be blowing at least 20mph.

Are we talking 24 keeper trout? If so, sounds like a heck of a day to me.

Yeah, 24 keepers, I guess I was just comparing it to a trip a friend had a couple of days before. We hit the same places, he just had a faster trip. He said they hit Pringle shore again today and had 40 keepers. He might stretch the story by 10 fish but he will ususally tell me the truth. He said all were caught on saltwater assassins.
